Donald Trump Admits He Likes Parts of Obamacare in Post-Election Interview

Donald Trump has given his first post-election interview and he actually praised parts of President Barack Obama‘s Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare).

The President-elect says that working “quickly” on the health initiative is a priority for him once he gets into office, but he says he likes two parts of the health law.

Trump told the Wall Street Journal that he likes parts of the law that prohibit insurers from denying coverage to patients because of existing conditions and also the provision that allows children to stay on their parents’ insurance policies for additional years.

“I like those very much,” Trump said.

The change of heart came after Obama urged Trump not to repeal the law during their first meeting this week.
