Suki Waterhouse Joins 'Detective Pikachu' with Ryan Reynolds

Suki Waterhouse is set to join the cast of the live-action Pokemon movie, Detective Pikachu, THR reports.

Ryan Reynolds is attached to star, with Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, Bill Nighy and Chris Geere.

Here’s a plot summary: When a teen’s (Smith) father is kidnapped, she must team up with Pikachu (Reynolds) in order to find him. A sassy journalist (Newton) helps them on their quest.

It’s unclear who Suki will be playing at this point.

The film is currently set to be released on May 10, 2019, and has started filming.
