Alec Baldwin Tells Jimmy Fallon That Trump Tweeting About Him is 'Surreal' - Watch Here!
Alec Baldwin joined Jimmy Fallon on Monday’s (March 12) episode of The Tonight Show and discussed everything from his new role on Hulu’s The Looming Tower to his upcoming talk show on ABC and, of course, his impersonation of President Donald Trump on SNL!
“Everybody knows that Lorne came to me and I thought we were going to do it for three weeks in the fall,” the 59-year-old actor told Jimmy of the beginning of his impersonation on SNL. “Then he won, and I was like, ‘Oh, no.’”
Jimmy proceeds to read Trump‘s recent tweets to Alec, in which the president said the actor’s “dying mediocre career” was “saved by his terrible impersonation, Alec responded, “Nobody is forced to watch…When Trump forces people to listen to him, we call them government employees.”
Alec said it was “surreal” to have the president call him out on Twitter and went on to question his Twitter habits: “Does he have alerts or does he sequester himself for just a period of tweeting?”
