Amy Schumer Won't Take Husband Chris Fischer's Last Name for This Reason

Amy Schumer is explaining why she won’t be changing her last name to her husband Chris Fischer‘s!

The 36-year-old comedian made the revelation in her Instagram Stories on Sunday (March 11).

The video featured Amy‘s father Gordon asking her, “Are you still Amy Schumer or are you Amy Fischer now?”

“Do you remember who Amy Fischer is?” Amy responded. “The Long Island Lolita. No, I’m keeping my last name. I’m keeping your last name.”

Amy is referring to Amy Fisher, the Massapequa, New York high school student who became known as “the Long Island Lolita” by the media in 1992, when she shot the wife of her lover at age 17. She later appeared in adult films after her serving seven years in prison.
