Harvey Weinstein Arrested, Charged With Rape, Sex Abuse & Misconduct

After arriving at the First Precinct in Tribeca to turn himself in to authorities early on Friday morning (May 25) in New York City, Harvey Weinstein is now under arrest.

The 66-year-old film producer was arrested shortly thereafter, the New York Police Department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

He was charged with rape, a criminal sex act, sex abuse and sexual misconduct for encounters with two women, the police confirmed in a statement.

He is expected to be arraigned later in the day.
