Busy Philipps Says Writing New Memoir Was 'Incredibly Cathartic'

Busy Philipps keeps it chic and sophisticated while posing backstage at the SiriusXM Studios on Monday (October 15) in New York City.

The 39-year-old upcoming E! talk show host stopped by to promote her newly released tell-all, “This Will Only Hurt a Little.”

Busy recently expressed that it was “incredible cathartic” to work on the book. “Somebody said to me that writing a memoir is like doing 10 years of therapy in a year, which I found to be true,” Busy said on GMA. “So, yeah, I went deep in the book.”

Busy also talked about being an out-of-work actress who took a shot at Instagram stories: “I was like, I’m gonna make this my own reality show and didn’t care if anyone watched it,” she said – Watch below!
