Ariana Grande Lands Her First Hot 100 #1 with 'thank u, next'

Ariana Grande has achieved her first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 with her new song “thank u, next.”

This is the first number one debut for a woman since Adele‘s “Hello.”

Ariana previously went to number two with her song “Problem” in 2014 and number three with “Bang Bang” in 2014 and “No Tears Left to Cry” this year.

“thank u, next” also achieved both the U.S. and Global One-Day streaming records for a female artist on Spotify. The song was streamed over 9 million times worldwide and 4 million in the U.S. in a single day.
