James McAvoy Says One of His 'Glass' Personas Was Inspired by Saoirse Ronan!

James McAvoy hit Stephen Colbert‘s couch on The Late Show on Monday (January 14) and talked all about the various personas that take up residence within his Split and Glass character, Kevin Wendell Crumb.

The 39-year-old actor revealed that one of the personalities was influenced by his former co-star, Saoirse Ronan.

James and Saoirse co-starred in the 2007 war drama Atonement, alongside Keira Knightley, when Saoirse was 12 years old.

“Her voice was based on my memory of Saoirse’s when she was 11,” James admitted. “Not how she sounds now, and probably not how she sounded then, but my memory of her voice then, which was high and full of—she was sharp, and she was just full of life.”
