Rami Malek Wins Best Actor at Oscars 2019 - Watch Video!
Rami Malek is officially an Oscar winner after winning the award for Best Actor at the 2019 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 24) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The 37-year-old actor picked up the award for his performance as Freddie Mercury in the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
Rami beat out Vice‘s Christian Bale, A Star is Born‘s Bradley Cooper, At Eternity’s Gate‘s Willem Dafoe, and Green Book‘s Viggo Mortensen to win the award.
Before going on stage to accept, Rami gave a big kiss to his girlfriend and co-star Lucy Boynton, who he thanked at the end of his speech.
“Lucy Boynton, you are the heart of this film. You are beyond immensely talented. You have captured my heart. Thank you so much,” he said.
