Minnie Driver Delivers an Epic, Expletive-Filled Rant on 'Ellen'

Minnie Driver has a mouth like a sailor!

The 49-year-old actress made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday (April 5) and opened up about her problematic profanity habit.

“Yes, I do swear like a sailor,” Minnie confirmed, before explaining that her son, Henry, instituted a swear jar in their home. “Henry actually invented the swear jar because he was sick of my swearing and also felt that he could make some easy cash.”

The Speechless star explained that, in her house, the severity of the swear determines its cost.

“The F-word was worth five dollars,” she explained. “The S-word, the A-word, the D-word, all one-dollar words.”

Ellen DeGeneres then announced to Henry, who was sitting just off-stage, that she was about to help him earn some extra money to spend at the Ellen gift shop and proceeded to set Minnie loose on an epic, heavily-bleeped and heavily-British rant.

“Buggering [bleep] bags, why can I not bollocking well stop swearing? I’m such a [bleep] idiot. And it’s also mostly British swearing, so you probably don’t understand it. That’s not [bleep] [bleep] [bleep] damn it, NO!” the actress yelled on stage.

When Minnie was finished, Henry confirmed for the audience that his mom’s rant was worth a full $10, which definitely gives a hint about what those bleeped out words were.
