Margot Robbie Spills on Moving Out of Her Family's Home When She Was 17

Margot Robbie admits she may have wanted to grow up too fast.

The 28-year-old actress was spotted while on her way back to her hotel after promoting her new movie Dreamland on Monday (April 29) in New York City.

After a screening of the film, Margot opened up about moving out of her family’s home when she was just 17.

“As a kid I fantasized everything. I fantasized growing up, being an adult and what that would mean,” Margot told People.

She continued, “Of course, when it all happened and I moved out of home when I was like 17, and moved to states [in Australia], reality smacked me in the face. I was like, ‘Whoa!’ Being an adult is so complicated. I yearned for more simple times.”
