Here's What Serena Williams Did After Losing at U.S. Open
Serena Williams speaks during the event, Real Talk with Two Female Champions Inspiring the Next Generation, as a part of NYFW: The Talks on Monday (September 9) in New York City.
Also in attendance at the talk was Endeavor CMO Bozoma St. John. The breakfast, presented by Wheaties, allowed attendees to start their day with Wheaties-crusted french toast as they listened to a conversation between the two women about breaking barriers.
This past weekend, Serena Williams lost the US Open in the final round to 19-year-old Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu.
To shake off the loss, on Sunday night (September 8), Serena, along with her husband Alexis Ohanian, sister Venus and 12 others, rented out the top floor of Mexican restaurant Vida Verde in New York City.
They ordered the entire menu and enjoyed time together until 2am, Page Six reports.
“Serena was in good spirits,” a source said. Serena was hard on herself following her defeat.
