Jennifer Lopez Got Dancing Tips from Cardi B for 'Hustlers': 'Such A Natural'

Jennifer Lopez hit Jimmy Fallon‘s couch on The Tonight Show on Tuesday night (September 10), and revealed that before her upcoming movie Hustlers, she did not know how to pole dance.

“I didn’t know how to pole dance, it’s like acrobats, it’s like learning gymnastics but with a pole,” the 50-year-old entertainer explained to Fallon. “It was super hard.”

“I called Cardi B, Cardi is in the movie as well,” Jennifer continued. “I was like ‘You have to be in this movie, you know this world, teach us.’ But as I’m learning how to pole dance and I said, ‘It is really hard,’ and she goes, ‘Oh yeah, it took me years, years to master, but now I’m great at it.’ She’s such a natural… she knew exactly what to do.”

Jennifer Lopez also shared her version of her and Alex Rodriguez‘s engagement story, the best marriage advice she received from Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and explained how her 11-year-old daughter ended up performing “Limitless” with her on her It’s My Party tour.

Also during the show, J.LO joined Jimmy to perform “The History of Music Video Dancing,” in which they recreated some of the most iconic dance moments from music videos.
