Kanye West Says He Asked Collaborators Not to Have Premarital Sex While Making 'Jesus Is King'
Kanye West is explaining the process behind his upcoming album, Jesus Is King.
The 42-year-old Ye rapper spoke to Zane Lowe as part of Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio on Thursday (October 24).

“There was times where I was asking people to fast during the album. This is gonna be radical what I’m about to say, we can look at it in the edit. There were times I was asking people to not have premarital sex while they were working on the album. I know that’s one where the Shade Room will be like ‘what you mean not have premarital sex!?’” he said.
“But seriously there’s times I went to people that were working on other projects and said could you just work and focus on this? I mean it’s known when people pray together, families that pray together stay together. When people pray together and fast together, the power is increased.”
