Olivia Wilde Wins Best First Feature for 'Booksmart' at Spirit Awards 2020!
Olivia Wilde appears on stage to accept an award at the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 8) at the pier in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 35-year-old actress and filmmaker won the award for Best First Feature for her movie Booksmart.
“I just want to acknowledge the people who believed in this idea and most of them are here on stage,” Olivia said during her speech. Among the people on stage were writer and producer Katie Silberman, producers Jessica Elbaum and Chelsea Barnard, and stars Kaitlyn Dever, Beanie Feldstein, and Billie Lourd.
The other movies nominated in the category were The Climb, Diane, The Last Black Man in San Francisco, The Mustang, and See You Yesterday.
