Netflix Pulls Out of SXSW 2020 Due to Coronavirus Concerns

Netflix has canceled its 2020 SXSW screenings and panels amid Coronavirus fears.

The production company has called off five film screenings and a panel for the series Black Excellence, Variety reports.

The panel was slated for March 15 with Kenya Barris and Rashida Jones.

The films include the feature film Uncorked, as well as four documentaries: A Secret Love, L.A. Originals, Mucho Mucho Amor, and Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics.

Apple and Amazon Studios have also pulled out of South by Southwest.

SXSW, which takes place from March 13 to 22, is so far still scheduled to go forward in Austin, Texas.
