'Fargo' Season 4's Premiere Date Is Delayed Due to Production Shut Down

We’ll be waiting for Fargo‘s season four for a little while longer.

Variety says that the hit show’s premiere is indefinitely delayed because of the coronavirus.

“Due to the postponement of production related to the coronavirus, the fourth installment of FX’s award-winning limited series ‘Fargo’ will no longer premiere on Sunday, April 19th,” FX Networks shared in a statement about the delay. “A new premiere date will be determined once production resumes.”

The new season of Fargo is set in 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri, where two criminal syndicates — one Italian, one African-American — have struck an uneasy peace. To cement their peace, the heads of both families have traded their eldest sons. But when the head of the Kansas City mafia goes into the hospital for routine surgery and dies, everything changes.

Chris Rock, Uzo Aduba, Jack Huston, Jason Schwartzman, Ben Whishaw, Jessie Buckley, and more star in the new season.

Many other shows have been delayed and their sets shut down because of the pandemic.
