Shawn Mendes Recalls Closing CapitalFM’s Summertime Ball in 2018: ‘It Was Insane’

Just over the weekend, Shawn recorded a special video for CapitalFM, remembering his time closing out the 2018 Summertime Ball.
“I remember the first time i got to play Wembley Stadium was absolutely mind blowing,” Shawn recalled. “But the second time I got to close the show, it was night time and all the lights of the stage turned on, I remember walking on stage and losing my breath for the first two songs.”
He added, “It was insane.”
Just the day before, Shawn was spotted hanging outside during quarantine.
