Kim Kardashian recently shared photos and details about her 40th birthday trip to a private island with a lot of her friends.

However, fans quickly pointed out that Kylie Jenner did not appear to attend the trip as she wasn’t in any of the pics and hasn’t shared any of her own photos from the island paradise.

“Kylie was just tied up with other commitments, and that’s why she wasn’t at Kim’s birthday trip,” a source told Us Weekly of Kylie‘s absence. “They are obviously still incredibly close.”

The source added that there is “no drama” between them, for those who are wondering if there was a deeper reason for Kylie‘s absence.
