'Count Every Vote' Is Trending After Trump Declares False Victory in 2020 Election
There are millions of votes that still need to be counted in crucial swing states including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Donald Trump prematurely (and falsely) declared victory on Election Night (November 3) and no major network or news source has been able to actually say who has won the Presidency because there’s no clear answer yet. Until every vote is counted, we may simply not know if Joe Biden or Trump is the next POTUS.
Now, “Count Every Vote” is trending on Twitter after American citizens want every vote counted before declaring who the next President will be. A lot of celebrities have started tweeting and we’ve compiled a list.

Mail in ballots are not a “surprise” they’re ballots. They’re votes. And they need to be counted. #CountEveryVote https://t.co/JiLB2G6eK6

Waiting in line for hours.
Facing voter intimidation.
Figuring out how to vote safely.Americans made their voices heard in record-shattering numbers despite a coordinated effort from Trump and the Republican party to prevent just that.
We owe it to them to #CountEveryVote.

Neither candidate has won but one of them is falsely pretending he won which is dangerous.
Based on that alone I want to point something out: they’re not “the same.” I’m sick of the “they’re the same” takes. It’s boring. It’s lazy. This is serious. We need to #CountEveryVote.— Mike Birbiglia (@birbigs) November 4, 2020
