Katy Perry is surprising fans with a new EP!

The 36-year-old singer and American Idol judge dropped her EP titled Cosmic Energy on Thursday night (December 17) in honor of Monday night’s Great Conjunction.

A Great Conjunction is when Jupiter and Saturn will be the closest together since 1623, and the closest to see together since 1226. After the 2020 Great Conjunction, it won’t happen again until March 15, 2080.

Katy‘s Cosmic Energy doesn’t feature any new songs, but it does feature some of her most enlightening and out of this world songs, including “E.T.,” “Wide Awake,” and “Not the End of the World.”

Just recently, fans got confused about Katy‘s recent Instagram, which featured an old photo of herself and thought she was showing her daughter Daisy instead.
