The 45-year-old retired Yankees player arrived at a gym for an afternoon workout on Saturday (March 13) in Miami, Florida.

While making his way into the gym, Alex was questioned by a TMZ reporter about speculation that he and Jennifer Lopez had split up.

When the reporter asked if he was “single,” Alex responded saying he’s “not.”

After his workout, Alex was recorded taking a phone call, where he called the caller “baby.” When asked if it was the 51-year-old entertainer calling him, Alex stayed quiet.

Hours before his workout, Alex and Jennifer released a statement about reports that they had ended their engagement after four years together, revealing that they are still together and are “working through some things.”
