A friend of Zac Efron is speaking out about the rumors that he’s had plastic surgery amid the speculation that he has a “new face.”

The 33-year-old actor made a brief appearance in last week’s Earth Day! The Musical video and fans noticed that his jawline looked more defined than it has in the past, which led to the rumors that he had work done.

Fans immediately came to Zac‘s defense and pointed out the injury he suffered several years ago to his jaw. A plastic surgeon also spoke out to share his thoughts on what actually happened to the actor.

Australian radio host Kyle Sandilands said on the latest episode of The Kyle and Jackie O Show, “I would know if he’d had any plastic surgery.” He added that Zac “of course” did not have any work done.

Kyle pointed out how Zac is already so good looking, so he wouldn’t even need to get plastic surgery done.

“It’s like getting a Picasso and having a kid finger paint all over it. Why bother?” he said.
