Chris Rock Jokingly Teases Nicole Kidman About Being Married 'A Couple of Times'

Chris Rock and Nicole Kidman are talking relationships!

The actors sat down for a conversation for Variety‘s Actors on Actors series.

During the conversation, Chris brought up Nicole‘s relationships while discussing The Undoing.

“Now we haven’t talked about The Undoing. You’ve been married a couple of times, so playing the wife is…” Chris began.

“Hey! I’m on my second marriage and my last marriage,” Nicole interjected, referring to her marriage to Keith Urban in 2006 following her marriage with Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001.

“Yes! I’m one in,” Chris said.

“You’re one in,” Nicole confirmed.

“I’ve had one marriage. And another one will be fine. If you’ve got another friend, tell her to call me,” Chris said, referring to his split from Malaak Compton-Rock in 2014 after nine years together.

“You’re the marrying kind,” Nicole offered.

“Once you get married, once you’re a spouse, you’re a spouse. You’re just looking for a country to grab hold to that takes your passport,” Chris explained.

“So what’s the question?” Nicole laughed.

“‘Cause your marriage looks so great! You guys look so happy. I mean, we all look happy, but you guys look really happy. So the untrusting wife thing…?” he asked.

“In my real life, I have a really good partner, yes, in my real life. In The Undoing, not so good.”
