Madison Beer Teases Details for Upcoming Album & Tour - Listen Here!

It’s only been four months since the release of Madison Beer‘s debut studio album Life Support, but she is already looking ahead to her second album!

The 22-year-old singer is the latest guest on the Spout podcast and she opened up about her future music while giving the interview.

“It’s definitely taking on a much different approach than Life Support. It sounds completely different,” she said. “A lot of songs from Life Support are over two and a half years old at this point. So I’ve departed a lot from a lot of them and I feel like I’m at a much different place musically and sonically and mentally and maturity wise.”

“I don’t want to reduce Life Support to a breakup album, but it was amidst a breakup of mine. I went from one long-term relationship to another long-term relationship and ending that was a lot on me. So I definitely wrote a breakup album with other things inside of it but that was the main narrative behind it,” Madison added. “I think that this second album has a lot more that we’ve touched on and a lot of different messages and meanings and I just can’t wait. I mean, I want it out yesterday, so we’re trying to get it done and get it out hopefully within this year if not very early next year, but it’s definitely the most me thing I have ever made and I’m over the moon excited for it.”

Madison also talked about her plans for going on tour soon.

She said, “I’m so excited man. I was born – I feel like to perform, like, I love to sing and I love to, you know, whatever but performing is really where I get that like dopamine hit and I’ve felt so depleted over the last year plus not being able to do any shows. I have just a strong connection with my fans that, like, seeing them in a crowd singing back to me, like resonating with the lyrics, us crying together, the sound of their screams on the first night that I opened my tour, I think I won’t even be able to get a word out because I’ll be sobbing hysterically. Yes, I’ve missed them. I’ve missed the stage. I’ve missed performing and I literally can’t wait. It’s not something that I can even comprehend at this point because I’m just like, I can’t believe it. I can’t believe it’s actually happening again, like, finally.”
