Pierce Brosnan Teases His Singing In Upcoming 'Cinderella'

Pierce Brosnan is ready to show off his singing skills again!

As fans might remember, the 68-year-old actor received some very harsh reviews for his vocal performances in 2008′s Mamma Mia! and the 2018 sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

Despite all the criticism, Pierce will be singing again in the upcoming Amazon Studios adaption of Cinderella, where he’ll be playing King Rowan.

“I do sing in Cinderella, I do. It’s [with] Minnie Driver and she plays the queen,” Pierce shared with People. “Minnie and I are old friends. … I was in [the James Bond film] GoldenEye with Minnie years ago, so we had great fun together.”

Pierce added, “I do sing and hopefully, it will bring a smile to people’s faces.”

Pierce stars in the upcoming Cinderella adaption alongside Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, Nicholas Galitzine, John Mulaney, James Corden, and Missy Elliott.

Also in the interview, Pierce gushed about working with Camila.

“Camila Cabello is, I think, going to light up the screen,” Pierce said. “She’s got such a great voice. It’s such an eclectic bunch of men and women and young performers, so I’m very excited by that.”
