'The White Lotus' Renewed for Season 2 at HBO (With a Big Change Coming!)

HBO’s hit new show, The White Lotus, has been renewed for a second season, but there’s going to be a big change.

The show is a social satire set at an exclusive Hawaiian resort and follows the vacations of various hotel guests over the span of a week as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. But with each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travelers, the hotel’s cheerful employees and the idyllic locale itself.

The big change? The next season will feature a whole new cast and a brand new location. The press release states that the next chapter “leaves Hawaii behind and follows a different group of vacationers as they jet to another White Lotus property and settle in temporarily amongst its inhabitants.”

The first season starred Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Lacy, Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney, Molly Shannon, and Steve Zahn, among others.
