Ben Platt Releases Two Full Songs from 'Dear Evan Hansen' Movie - Listen Here!

The film adaptation of the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen will be released in theaters next month and star Ben Platt has released two full songs from the movie!

The 27-year-old actor starred in the musical on Broadway and he won a Tony, an Emmy, and a Grammy for his work on the project.

The 16-track soundtrack for Dear Evan Hansen won’t be released until September 24, but you can listen to the new versions of “Waving Through a Window” and “You Will Be Found” right now.

Singing alongside Ben on “You Will Be Found” are co-stars Kaitlyn Dever, Amandla Stenberg, Isaac Powell, Liz Kate, DeMarius Copes, and Hadiya Eshe.

The soundtrack will feature new songs “A Little Closer” performed by Colton Ryan and “The Anonymous Ones” performed by Amandla, who co-wrote the lyrics and music with composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

Ben said in a statement, “It was so special to revisit these meaningful songs that have been such a big part of my life over the past several years, and I’m beyond excited for everyone to hear this amazing cast’s take on the material, especially the two new fantastic additions! Fans of the beautiful Original Broadway Cast Album are going to love listening to all the faves on this soundtrack.”

Ben recently revealed how the movie will have a different ending than the Broadway show.
