Adele Reportedly Planning TV Special to Promote New Album

Adele may have something else in the works in addition to her new album!

If you missed it, last week fans started seeing “30″ billboards popping up, leading to speculation that the 33-year-old singer’s latest release was on the horizon.

According to a report from Vulture, new Adele music may be closely followed by a TV special tied to the album.

The outlet writes, “No deals are in place, and talks are still in the exploratory stage. But if it happens, sources say the televised event would likely debut before the end of the year — just in time for the holiday shopping season.”

It’s unclear what type of special the singer would put on and whether it would land at a streaming service or at a network. Adele promoted her 2015 album 25 with televised concerts on the BBC and NBC in November and December of that year, so she could go with something similar.

Vulture adds that her reps have reportedly approached American networks about the special, hinting that she hasn’t opted for a streaming only strategy.

One superstar recently announced that she would be shifting her album release date back a week, prompting speculation it was because of Adele.
