Kristen Bell's Jaw Dropped After Hearing Daughter Delta's Hilarious Joke

Kristen Bell is convinced that her daughter, Delta, is funnier than both her and her husband, Dax Shepard.

In a sneak peek clip from her Momsplaining With Kristen Bell podcast (via E!), the 41-year-old Queenpins star opened up about the “weird” side of parenting, which involves letting her and Dax’s youngest daughter “get away with everything”.

“Parenting is a lot like sports—you’re either winning or losing every minute of the day,” Kristen shared in the preview. “Mostly losing, but that’s what makes the winning so sweet, and fleeting. Being a parent is just weird, you know? And it helps to know you’re not alone. I suggest talking to someone—even if no one is there.”

After introducing her guests, The Dumb Dads podcast co-hosts Evan Kyle Berger and Kevin Laferriere, she proceeded to tell them about a time when Delta wasn’t really excited about going to bed and abandoning a toy she was playing with.

“We have one [child] that is pretty funny—she feels like the perfect hybrid between Chris Farley and Shirley Temple, and so she gets away with everything,” Kristen shared.

She explained that after she herself tried to get Delta put away the toy, Dax stepped in. He told Delta she could only have 30 more seconds with the item.

“Then he looks at her, and he goes, ‘Don’t make a fool out of me,’” Kristen recalled. “And she looks at him—she goes, ‘Daddy, I won’t make a fool out of you. I’m gonna make you a star.’”

Kristen and Dax are also parents to daughter Lincoln, 8.

Earlier this summer, Kristen admitted that Delta‘s name wasn’t the best right now.
