Gigi Hadid's Mom Yolanda Reportedly Claims Zayn Malik 'Struck' Her, He Responds to the Claim

Zayn Malik has just released a statement on his social media hinting at a family dispute between him and an unnamed family member of his partner, Gigi Hadid‘s, over their daughter Khai, 13 months. Moments after Zayn released the statement, news broke via TMZ that Yolanda Hadid, Gigi‘s mom, is claiming Zayn struck her when she went to visit the home.

The 28-year-old singer released a statement claiming that a relative of Gigi‘s, who now has been revealed to be Yolanda, entered their home while Gigi was away. He apparently agreed to not “contest claims” of an “argument” he had with said family member. Now, it appears as if Zayn is saying he has tried to restore peace but instead, this story got leaked to the press.

On Twitter, Zayn posted, “As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in. A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart. In an effort to protect that space for her I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago. This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.”

“I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves,” he concluded.

Sources are revealing that Yolanda is “seriously considering filing a police report” and claims Zayn “struck her” sometime last week, according to TMZ.
