Author Who Revealed It Was Prince Charles Who Allegedly Commented on Archie's Skin Tone Speaks Further About It on 'Today' Show

Christopher Anderson, the author of “Brothers And Wives: Inside The Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan,” spoke to a source who apparently claimed that Prince Charles was the royal who commented on the potential skin tone of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s future kids.

If you don’t remember, back in March of 2021, the Sussexes sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a tell-all interview about their separation from the royal family. During the interview, the Duchess made a bombshell statement that one member of the royal family expressed concerned over the potential color of Archie‘s skin tone.

Now, Andersen went on the Today show and spoke further about it.

“On the morning that Meghan and Harry‘s engagement was announced, in a very kind of benign way, Prince Charles started to muse on what their future grandchildren might look like,” Andersen told hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie. “I mean, here’s this beautiful biracial American woman and the world’s most famous redhead. I’m a grandfather, of course, we all do this, speculate on it. But it was turned into something very toxic, it was weaponized by the ‘Men in Gray’ who run the palace organization. Unfortunately, by the time it got to Harry, that’s the way he took it.”

In his book, Andersen wrote, that Prince Charles said to Duchess Camilla, “I wonder what the children will look like?”

Camilla was “somewhat taken aback” by the question and apparently responded to him with, “Well, absolutely gorgeous, I’m certain.”

He then responded, “I mean, what do you think their children’s complexion might be?”
