Dax Shepard Had The Hiccups For 50 Hours Straight & There Are Videos!

Dax Shepard had quite the difficult week earlier this month, after having the hiccups for 50 hours straight!

The 46-year-old actor revealed what he had been going through for the past couple of days by sharing a video of him, while he was still experiencing the hiccups.

“What a ride!!! 50 hours of hiccups,” Dax captioned his Instagram. “Worry not. We have been hiccup free for five days today.”

He added, “For anyone who has permanent hiccups, god bless. I don’t know if I could have gone a week with those without intervening with a cycle of cyanide. #hiccups #burps #robertdurst.”

In the pair of videos he shared, Dax‘s wife, Kristen Bell, was recording and when asked how he’s holding up, he tells her, “It’s still funny … relatively funny though.”

“I came across some hiccups about, I guess, okay we’re going on 22 hours … no 21,” he said, before asking whether she heard them. She then responded, “All night long.”

Dax then relayed that they did go away “for stretches today. A couple hours in the afternoon. There was an hour of freedom.”
