Sayaka Kanda, Star of Japanese-Dubbed 'Frozen,' Dies at 35

Japanese actress and singer Sayaka Kanda has tragically died at the young age of 35.

She was also a voice actress and actually voiced Anna in the Japanese dubbed version of Disney’s Frozen. She was also known for her work in Idoly Pride, Star Blazers 2202, and Convenience Store Boyfriend.

According to a statement on her website, she “died suddenly at 9:40 p.m. on Dec. 18, 2021.”

Her death is currently being investigated, but details from a Japanese news source state that she was found unconscious at an outdoor area at the hotel she was staying at, and passed away after being taken to the hospital. The report claims she apparently fell “from a height at a hotel.”
