We’re remembering the beloved stars who have sadly passed away in 2021 From iconic actors to massive music stars to major media personalities, there have been some truly shocking deaths in the first few months of the year already.

Our continued thoughts are with all the friends, families, and loved ones of the celebrities who have passed away this year so far. Rest in peace.

From TV favorites like Willie Garson and Norm McDonald to beloved industry veterans like Jessica Walter, to cherished literary icons like Joan Didion, we have lost so many special stars.

Due to the pandemic, some of the deaths on this list are of celebrities who were taken due to this terrible illness. Our thoughts are with all of those who have lost loved ones this past year and a half, especially during this pandemic.
