Lacey Chabert's Daughter Had The Cutest Reaction After Realizing She Starred in 'Mean Girls'

Lacey Chabert‘s daughter, Julia, is officially a Mean Girls fan.

The 39-year-old actress opened up on The Kelly Clarkson Show about Julia‘s first reaction when she realized that Lacey played Gretchen Wieners in the 2004 iconic flick.

Lacey explained to Kelly that while Julia hasn’t seen the entire movie, she has seen snippets, thanks to Lacey‘s husband, David Nehdar.

“Well, she [Julia] is only 5 but I did come home from work one day and my husband was like, ‘Yeah, we watched a few scenes from it,’” she shared. “I’m like, ‘Okay.’ She goes, ‘Mommy, I didn’t know you were Gretchen Wieners. Did you know that was your name.’”

Lacey admitted that “even hearing that name come out of her mouth” was funny.

Julia is also aware of Lacey‘s iconic status on Hallmark Channel, too.

“We passed a Hallmark card store and she goes, ‘Oh, look mommy, there’s your crown,” Lacey shared the cute story later on, “I was like, ‘OK.’”

Lacey has appeared in close to 30 Hallmark movies, with 11 of them being Christmas ones!

Lacey was joined by Alison Sweeney and Autumn Reeser, who are the stars of the new Wedding Veil Trilogy currently airing on Hallmark.
