Jeff Lewis Reveals He's Dating Chef Stuart O'Keeffe After Scott Anderson Split

Jeff Lewis is opening up about his dating life!

During an episode of his SiriusXM show Jeff Lewis Live on Monday (March 13), the Flipping Out alum revealed he was dating Stuart O’Keeffe, an Irish chef who also serves as a co-host on the show.

His announcement comes after his split from his on-again, off-again boyfriend Scott Anderson. The pair had been dating since May 2019.

Stuart and Jeff met during the promotion of Cook It, Spill It, Throw It: The Not-So-Real Housewives Parody Cookbook in November and they hung out again at the reality star’s holiday party.

He then became a regular co-host on Jeff Lewis Live, with fans speculating they could be more than friends though they denied it at the time.

“Just so you guys know, we are now dating,” Jeff said on the episode. “We don’t need to bulls— anymore, we are dating.”

He went on to say that he calls Stuart “Chef Stu,” adding that the chef is “kind of turned on” by the nickname.

Jeff also said he was grateful for Stuart‘s communication skills. “What’s nice about Chef Stu is he’s always texting, he’s always sending pictures, he’s always calling,” he said. “I don’t worry about him, he’s always including me in whatever he’s doing, which, I appreciate that. I’m not anxious, I’m not stressed, I don’t worry, I’m not insecure — none of that.”

However, the couple did have some issues over the weekend, with Jeff sharing that they got into an argument after Stuart almost cancelled their dinner plans.

“He went away for the weekend to Palm Springs for some tennis tournament,” Jeff explained. “He said, ‘I’m going to go Friday. I’m going to go Saturday. … And the whole weekend he said nice things like, ‘Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, can’t wait, wish you were here, blah blah blah.’ … But then what happened was, [he called me and said], ‘Hey I might be getting another ticket for tennis on Sunday…I probably would stay another night and come back on Monday…You’re cool with that, right?’”

Jeff was frustrated that Stuart was answering for him, leading them to exchange some tense text messages.

“I understand it didn’t happen, because you didn’t get the ticket, but there will be a next time with you. There will be. So I’m just f—ing setting boundaries with you,” Jeff recalled texting Stuart.

“I just feel like there’s compromise,” he told to his co-hosts. “He’s already been there for two days and we had plans that he was going to potentially cancel. If he had done that, I would feel like less than a priority to him.”

Stuart then called in to the show and tried to diffuse the situation.

“You were testing me. You were testing my temperature!” Jeff told him, who laughed at an accidental “LOL” text he said he sent the host. “That was not a mistake. You typed it and sent it, it was not a mistake… It’s not funny. Stop laughing. You’re making it worse.”

Earlier this year, Jeff revealed that his 5-year-old daughter had threatened to cut ties with him for this reason.
