Anthony Anderson's Wife Alvina Stewart Files for Divorce After 22 Years of Marriage

Anthony Anderson and his wife Alvina Stewart are going their separate ways.

The Blast writes that according to new court documents, Alvina filed for dissolution of marriage from the Black-ish actor in Los Angeles County Courts.

She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The pair have been married for over 22 years, having tied the knot in 1999.

Alvina had previously filed for divorce back in 2015, requesting primary custody of their two children, Kyra, 26, and Nathan, 22, as well as spousal support. However in 2017, she withdrew the divorce papers and reconciled with Anthony.

In her new filing, Alvina listed the date of separation as “TBD” and asked for spousal support. “All gifts and inheritance, all assets, earnings, accumulations, and debts acquired by Petitioner prior to the date of marriage and after the date of separation, the exact nature and extent of which are unknown,” the court docs reportedly read.
