Shawn Mendes Releases Music Video for New Single 'When You're Gone' - Read the Lyrics & Watch Now!

Shawn Mendes has a new single out!

At midnight on Thursday (March 31), the 23-year-old singer released his new song titled “When You’re Gone” along with the music video to with it.

“Hold on / I don’t wanna know what it’s like when you’rе gone / I don’t wanna move on / I don’t wanna know what it’s like whеn you’re gone for good/ You’re slipping through my fingertips,” Shawn sings. “A little bit, by a little bit / I didn’t know that loving you was the happiest I’ve ever been / So, I’m just tryna hold on.”

The music video, which was directed by Jay Martin, was filmed in Toronto and Austin across several days capturing Shawn recording, rehearsing, and performing the song live for the first time at the 2022 SXSW Festival earlier this month.
