Lily-Rose Depp, HoYeon Jung, & Renate Reinsve Are Making a New Movie Together for A24!

The Governesses is going straight to the top of our list of highly anticipated movies of the next year!

A24 has set an exciting cast for the upcoming movie with Lily-Rose Depp starring alongside Squid Game‘s HoYeon Jung and The Worst Person in the World‘s Renate Reinsve.

Joe Talbot is directing the movie from a screenplay he co-wrote with Olivia Gatwood. He previously made his feature film debut with A24′s The Last Black Man in San Francisco.

Variety reports that the movie will follow “three rebellious governesses who upend the household they work in –– inspiriting the minds of the boys in their care, igniting the imaginations of the bohemian couple who employ them and abandoning their charges for erotic adventures.”

The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Anne Serre and it will be shot in Spain.
