'Tiger King' Star Doc Antle Arrested by FBI

Doc Antle has been arrested by the FBI.

People reports that the 62-year-old animal trainer, who appeared in Netflix’s hit Tiger King series, was arrested on Friday (June 4) in Horry County, South Carolina.

The outlet writes that booking records suggested that the animal trainer, whose legal name is Bhagavan Antle, was taken to jail at 2:38 p.m. Friday and is currently still behind bars.

No charges have been made public thus far, but Doc had previously been indicted on wildlife trafficking charges in 2020.

In a statement released after his indictment, the state’s attorney general stated that he had been charged with one felony count of wildlife trafficking, one felony count of conspiracy to wildlife traffic and 13 additional misdemeanor charges relating to animal cruelty and the Endangered Species Act.
