Jennifer Hudson's Talk Show Gets Debut Date, Plus, Big 'Ellen' Connection Revealed!

The Jennifer Hudson Show has an official debut date, plus additional details about the show were also just released.

The show will be run by Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner and Corey Palent, aka the trio behind Ellen DeGeneres’ longtime talk show. Ellen just ended her run on TV after 19 years.

Jennifer Hudson‘s show will officially debut on September 12 in more than 95% of the country. Jennifer will also produce alongside Lisa Kasteler Calio, Graehme Morphy and Walter Williams III.

“I’ve worked with Mary, Andy and Corey across multiple shows for the past nine years, and I’m thrilled that we’re able to keep them in the family because they are truly the best in the business,” Mike Darnell, president, Warner Bros. Unscripted Television, said in a statement. “With Jennifer’s incredible talents, and the addition of Lisa, Graehme, Walter and Shani to the producing team, I know this show is going to be fantastic and I’m excited for what’s to come.”
