Chris Evans to Star Opposite Emily Blunt in Netflix's 'Pain Hustlers'

Chris Evans is taking on a new role.

According to Deadline, the 41-year-old actor is in final negotiations to star in Netflix’s Pain Hustlers opposite Emily Blunt.

The outlet writes that Pain Hustlers follows Liza Drake (Emily), “a high-school dropout dreaming of a better life for her and her young daughter. Liz lands a job with a failing pharmaceutical startup in a yellowing strip mall in Central Florida. Her charm, guts and drive catapult the company and her into the high life, where she soon finds herself at the center of a criminal conspiracy with deadly consequences.

Production for the film, which is being directed by David Yates, is expected to begin in August. The movie has been billed as tonally similar to American Hustle, The Big Short and The Wolf of Wall Street.
