Zendaya Makes History for a Second Time with Her Latest 'Euphoria' Emmy Nomination

Zendaya is making history with her latest Emmy nomination.

On Tuesday (July 12), the 25-year-old actress scored her second nom for her role on Euphoria, becoming the youngest ever two-time nominee.

She also got a nod for her work as a producer on the HBO series, which makes her the youngest woman ever nominated for producing at the Emmys.

Zendaya had previously set a record as the youngest recipient of the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series award back in 2020.

Created, written, directed and produced by Sam Levinson, Euphoria stars Zendaya as Rue, a 17-year-old drug addict. The series returned for its second season in January and was renewed for a third the following month.

The 2022 Emmy Awards are set to be broadcast live on NBC on September 12 and will also be streaming live on Peacock. See the full list of nominees here.
