Julianne Moore Celebrates 'Far From Heaven's 20th Anniversary at Outfest 2022

Julianne Moore goes casual in jeans and a black tee at the Far From Heaven screening during 2022 Outfest held at DGA Theater Complex on Sunday (July 17) in Los Angeles.

The 61-year-old actress joined director Todd Haynes and producer Christine Vachon for a special presentation of the film for its 20th anniversary.

Following the screening, Julianne, Todd and Christine teamed up for a Q&A about the film, opening up about the decades-long partnership and impact on queer cinema.

If you’re unfamiliar, Far From Heaven revolves around a privileged suburban family whose lives are filled with daily family etiquette, social events at the club, and an overall desire to keep up with the Joneses. The family is turned upside down when both husband and wife are faced with choices that not only create a gossip mill for the entire community but also change their entire lives forever.
