Hailey Bieber Earns Small Victory In Lawsuit Over 'Rhode' Skincare Line Name
In the new update, a judge has ruled that Hailey will be allowed to promote her skincare line despite the lawsuit.
Just before the weekend, Hailey‘s company filed an emergency letter motion related to the making of rhode, a documentary on the brand that was released on her YouTube channel that day.
E! News reveals that Hailey submitted the video to the court for review and, after viewing, the judge denied the preliminary injunction motion presented by the fashion brand.
This will allow Hailey and her team to release the video and still promote the skincare line as the lawsuit continues.
“We are pleased with the court’s thorough order denying plaintiff’s motion to preliminarily enjoin Hailey’s new company and skincare line,” her family lawyer, Michael Rhodes, said in a statement.
Fashion brand Rhode also responded to the ruling, saying that it “is simply a decision by the judge not to prohibit Hailey Bieber’s skin care line from using our brand name while litigation proceeds, deferring the ruling until we have the opportunity to gather more evidence.”
They also shared that they “remain confident” in winning the case.
