Charlie Puth Explains His Thirst Traps Amid Accusations of Queerbaiting, Reveals LGBTQ+ Community Helped Him Finish a Song
Charlie told GQ that he’s not queerbaiting; he’s just horny.
“I am very horny,” he told the outlet. “All the time.”
The singer also joked about showing off the results of his hard work in the gym and noted that he doesn’t intent “to antagonize anybody” when he shares content online.
He also revealed how the community inspired him when he was struggling with a song on his new album.
“I think LGBTQ+ culture is so ahead of its time, culturally, sonically, musically, everything-ly that when I had a less than perfect song at the studio and I was by myself and I saw everybody having a great time, I literally heard a different song in my head,” Charlie explained. “I rearranged the whole thing, I drove back to the studio, I was so inspired.”
The song was his single “Loser.” You can give it a listen below.
