'Young Sheldon' Star Iain Armitage Reunites with Older Sheldon, Jim Parsons - See The Pic!

The two Sheldon Coopers have reunited!

Iain Armitage shared a brand new pic of him hanging out with Jim Parsons in New York City last week.

If you don’t know, Iain plays the younger version of Jim‘s Sheldon Cooper in CBS’ Young Sheldon. Jim played the character in The Big Bang Theory, and also narrates Young Sheldon, as well.

During his trip to NYC last week, Iain said he was lucky enough to get a front seat to one of Jim‘s performances in Man of No Importance.

“And here is the whole reason I went to NYC!” he captioned the selfie with Jim. “It’s one of my favorite places to go in the autumn, so I’m always looking for an excuse to get there. When I heard that @therealjimparsons was appearing on stage in @classicstage’s production of Man of No Importance, I knew I had to get there. I ended up sitting in the front row for a preview performance and it was so, so, so great!”

Iain added, “Jim is astonishing and he’s surrounded by an incredible cast. Honestly, I want to go back and see it all again! Have you seen it? Will you get to? Please let me know! Jim plays Alfie, a theatre loving bus conductor in Dublin in 1964 in this musical. And we watch as he wrestles with his faith, his beliefs and his judgements. It’s sweet and simple and powerful, and you’ve never seen Jim Parsons in a role like this.”

“I feel so lucky and happy that i got to go!” he finished up. “Also, I was so happy to see Jim again!!!”
