Jessica Chastain Has 'No Interest' In Being a Female James Bond, But She'd Love to Play the Villain

Jessica Chastain is sharing her thoughts on the James Bond franchise!

The Oscar-winning actress opened up during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (November 17) in New York City.

Jessica said she has no interest in playing Bond, but would love to be a villain!

“When I started in the industry about 10 years ago, everyone kept asking me, ‘Would you like to be a Bond girl?’ Because it was, for a woman in the industry, it was like the pinnacle of success to play a Bond girl. And for me, I was like, ‘No, I want to be the villain,’” she said.

Jessica continued, “I love this idea of Bond being afraid of me. I love that. So yeah, of course, anyone wants to call me with a Bond villain role, I’m there.”

Jimmy then asked if she’d be open to being a female James Bond and Jessica said, “No. No interest at all.”

“I might be the only person who’s ever said they have no interest in playing James Bond,” Jessica added.”I want to torture James Bond! Let me have my dream, Jimmy!”

Jessica made a big announcement earlier this week.
