Original Enchanted star Rachel Covey was the first actress to play Morgan, the daughter of Robert, and step daughter to Giselle, in the film franchise.

As the sequel, Disenchanted, just debuted on Disney+, so many fans are asking why she wasn’t brought back as Morgan again.

According to previous reports, it looks like it does have to do with age.

Rachel, now 24, was just 6 when she starred in Enchanted, and when Disenchanted rolled around to start filming, she was well out of her angsty teens. In the summary for Disenchanted, Morgan is described as just that.

Gabriella Baldacchino stars as the new Morgan.

However, that doesn’t mean Rachel isn’t in Disenchanted at all – she is!

During one part of Disenchanted, Giselle accidentally turns Monroeville into the real-life fairy tale town of Monrolasia. It’s there, you’ll find Rachel.

Rachel‘s character, who is only known as “Monrolasia Girl”, reminds Giselle that there’s a festival in the town that night.
